Italian press this weekend reported that the motor yacht “My Saga” has sunk off the coast of Catanzaro Marina, until the images were published today.
The video from the site of the event shows the massive boat sinking into the water before it completely sank.
Sky News reported that worsening weather conditions made it impossible for a lifewinner to return the yacht safely, reports Express.
An investigation into what caused the shipwreck is under way.
Jaht was built in Italy in 2007, according to the Super Yacht Times and was traveling from Gallipoli to Milazzo.
The Italian Coastguard recovered nine people from a sinking superyacht off the coast of Catanzaro Marina, in different Italian.
