Muharrem Sahini, spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, said the request was only for finance ministry employees.

A day after the strike by civil servants is continuing. The strikers asked the Kurti Government to distance themselves from the request of Deputy Finance Ministry Secretary Enis Spahiut to sit down and talk about finding a solution.
So far there has been no official response from Kurti Government to the situation created.
