memorandum signed for construction of Durres resort port

The memorandum of co-operation for construction of the Durres resort has been signed today. The $2 billion investment is a co-operation between “Eagle Hills Real Poststate Development” represented by investor Muhammad El Alabbar and “Albanian Seaports Development Company”.
In his speech at the ceremony, Prime Minister Edi Rama said this is the biggest tourist investment and in the region.

According to him, this process has been an intensive work of negotiations, discussions, even, in some cases, proving to be El Alabbar.

The impact of the tourist port will be spectacular. It's not the issue of 12 thousand new jobs, it's not about bringing 1,000 yachts, it's not about hotels, bars, restaurants, theatres or residences that will be built there. Nor is it that with the construction of this port, the value of the wealth of all Durres citizens grows that people will want to buy and sell much more. The value of property on the coastline will rise. Here is the whole other image that Albania will have in Europe. If wages in Montenegro are the highest in the region today, it is the result of a road from Port of Montenegro”, Rama said.

Even investor Muhammad El Arabbar, has spoken of signing the memorandum for building the Durres Tourist Port, stressing that they will create something magnificent, “from which people will be amazed and will not want to leave”.
