From Austria, present at the European Alpbach Forum, on the topic of “EU geopolitical elections” Rama named the European Union's stance on Kosovo meaningless.
This is this wake when you have the EU in the only geographical reality on the map. To enter Balkan countries, you must enter the EU. This geographical reality is not handled properly. Less than 2 million people are held hostage in the heart of Europe. When it comes to supporting the success of dialogue, no one thinks, give people the right to move, but let more constructive dialogue be”, Rama said.
In his address Rama expressed scepticism about European Union policies, which according to him does not seem to be changing.
If we were to see it in a general view, we would feel good. But if we go into detail, we'll understand that what we see in general view is reactionive, which is a good way to react. But it is not a proactive action to change some things that exist and call for justice”, Rama said.
