In addition, Abdixhiku has proposed a 10-point energy crisis plan that will help Kosovo citizens and businesses.
The first LDK proposal reports that VAT removal for all energy bills in Kosovo is involved.
Dear citizens, the reductions of electricity that are happening during the warm summer months are a clear sign of a difficult winter that we will have together. Despite our ongoing warnings, the Kosovo government has witnessed involuntarily and unable to act on time. She's had a full year to prepare for the coming winter, but today's the same as a year ago. So we have proposed a 10-point energy crisis plan, a plan that will help our citizens, our families, Kosovo businesses, cope more easily with this year's crisis. The plan called for a new subsidy package for every Kosovo family, full execution of the costs pledged by the previous year, reviewing the discriminatory tariffs of current tariffs, long-term supply contracts, removal of VAT on all energy bills in Kosovo”, he said.
He has also urged the government to assist Kosovo families in affordable ensuring alternative heating resources.
“also through our proposal, we urge the Kosovo government to assist the Kosovo families in the affordable security of alternative heating resources, which has almost tripled”, the LDK chairman has gone on.
Furthermore, he has drawn criticism in the direction of the government, saying the latter is asleep, while EU and regional countries have concrete savings plans.
“In the end, while all EU countries and the region have concrete savings plans, Kosovo's government is still on leave”, Abdixhiku has said.
