Kurti: On September 1st, either access/exult documents will be issued from Kosovo and Serbia or from either

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that on September 1st documents for entry/ exits will be issued both from Serbia and Kosovo, or issued by either side. He said Kosovo has delayed implementing this decision as a gesture of goodwill in the face of international partners' demand, but has said [...]
He said Kosovo has postponed the implementation of this decision as a gesture of good will in the face of the international partners' demand, but has said such a thing cannot be done over and over again.
“We have made a major concession on July 31st that the decision that would have to be implemented by August 1st should begin on September, of course, after the last barricades are removed and after that Kosovo Police inform me of and that in the meantime, the entry/exit documents were issued at all border crossings. 2679 documents have been issued, no incidents, no complaints. 20 seconds on average extremely efficient since everything is done electronicly in terms of data taking and we have testified that August 1 was going to be a perfectly common day in contrast to July 31,”.
“The postponement did not take place so that the push could become the principle. Postponing is not the principle of good will in the face of international partners' sorrows that there has been a major deinformation campaign throughout July. We are fighting deinformation, increasing information, and by September 1st we will have one of two scenarios either, or there will be no entry/exit documents in Serbia or in Kosovo, or there will be both. When we say we are making dialogue on the agreement, we think of agreement on the full normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which is internationally and legally binding and an agreement that is central to mutual recognition”, he said at the media conference following the government's meeting.
