Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at a media conference, spoke of yesterday's developments in the country's north. He was asked by reporters whether the Western allies were aware of what happened yesterday, responding to the full statement Periscope:
We have been constantly in communication with our American and European partners and friends. But most of the developments have been conditional on the criminal and aggressive actions of gangs that practically as illegal structures of Serbia, took to the streets of Kosovo.
We understand the concern of the US and the EU, of the great deinformation campaign that has been done for our two actions.
We'll continue the information campaign.
You are aware that citizens of Kosovo's ethnic Serb affiliation have been bombarded by false news from Serbia, for something they call not Olluaya hell.
This has been the concern of the US and the EU. We have the days of this month, towards September 1st, but of course, on the condition that free movement will be possible throughout the streets of Kosovo.
I've used challenging and problematic expressions, with these criminal gangs blocking roads with physical barricades, of course there are problems and challenges, but the force of law, democratic and constitutional order cannot tolerate this violence.
We are convinced that with our capacities, with our institutions, with popular support, with our Western and democratic allies, we will overcome this challenge.
This big challenge, it doesn't last for a day, but we're going to be busy with all we have”, Kurti said, escorts Periscopi.
VUCIZING: “Serbia's president has had to meet in Brussels on 19 July. He's been trying to postpone it, maybe he was doing what happened yesterday. I have expressed readiness, that when Borrell calls us, the EC vice president, I will go to Brussels, We don't have such an invitation right now. At the moment we have it, we will make it public and express our position”, Kurti said. /Periscope
