143 explosive devices have been removed this Saturday from the proximity of the power substation “Peja 2” in the neighborhood “Dania” in Pec.
Their elimination has been made by teams for the Elimination of Unbreaked Explosive Explosive Tools (EOD) of the Kosovo Security Force, assisted by Kosovo Police and Kosovo Police team KFOR's EOD Switzerland.
“During the two-day operation, these dangerous remains dating back to the time of World War I, which risked the safety of residents. The remains have been found during power-spread work in the neighbourhood of”, the KSF media communiqué says.
On the other hand, it is known that the vehicles have been safely pulled and destroyed in a controlled area the following days.
