Behgjet Shala from KMDLNj, said that until four cases were presented, among them [...]
Behgjet Shala from KMDLNj said that four cases have been filed between them and the former head of Kamenica, central Kastrati.
According to him, there are other figures that are influential in Kosovo, but because of the nature of their work, they do not want to make their identity public.
Among other things, Shala declared that the selection of those questioned is intentional and that there is a pressure on them not to travel to Serbia.
Four cases have been presented to us so far, among them is Kamenica's former leader, Central Kastrati. There are also figures working in sensitive locations, so they have impacts, but because of the nature of the work, they don't want to publicize their identity”, he said of Telegrafi.
He made it known that Serbian authorities have asked respondents issues like the place where they work until he added that their focus is getting information for Kosovo security institutions
The “they (Serbian authorities) want to receive information about security institutions, primarily the Kosovo Security Force, the Kosovo Police and the Kosovar Intelligence Agency”, said Shala, as he invited Kosovo institutions to freeze this as a concern, as he said such cases are fuelling fear and uncertainty among citizens.
“in all cases that have been asked a question, Serbian police have had correct conduct, so there has been no threat or abuse of those interviewed. Such cases have happened earlier. However, Kosovo institutions must raise it as a concern, as it is fuelling fears and uncertainty among citizens”.
In the end, Shala invited citizens facing such situations to present the case to the police and other institutions.
Otherwise, former Kamenica leader Central Kastrati, a member of the Social Democrat Party's leadership, has indicated he has been detained at the border with Serbia for more than two hours.
On the “Five” show, he has confessed how two people without police uniforms have accompanied him to an office on the border with Serbia to the White Land, where he has been questioned about an hour and a half.
Kastrati has indicated that once he enters the office, some unconfirmed persons who he doubts were members of the Serbian secret service have asked him about the political situation in Kosovo.
One of the questions they asked has been whether you know former KLA commander Fatmir Limaj. Another question, according to Kastrati, was what was the reason he left the Vetevendosje Movement.
The “has been a few people without identification, it became clear that it cannot travel because it gave permission to the bus to continue. They asked me to get the trunk, I said I was just IDs not the other”, he said.
I was asked to turn off the phone, start asking political questions, one question was why you came out of LVV, another question is if you know Fatmir Limaj. I refused, I told him that I know the rules, there must be a lawyer here”, he followed.
“asked political questions, whether you know political figures of Gjilan and Pristina, and whether you can run again for Kamenica chairman”, Kastrati said.
He has urged all citizens to report similar cases and not to fear.
