These measures are designed to enable KFOR to respond quickly to all security challenges, has told “Kosovo Online” KFOR Public Relations Office.
“We want to assure everyone that KFOR is ready to intervene if necessary” is added in response.
The mandate of the KFOR Mission, which stems from UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999, is also said to ensure a safe environment and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo.
“To carry out its tasks, KFOR maintains a visible and deft stand on the ground”, the Office for Relations with the KFOR Public.
