After midnight, implementation of the document agreement on the borders between Kosovo and Serbia is expected to begin.
Nuredin Ibishi, the security connoisseur, tells Kosova Prees there will be no tension in the situation in the north.
“I think there will be no tense situation and it will go as well, although even earlier citizens of the Serb community have welcomed it orally, have not objected to such a measure of reciprocity”, Ibishi stressed.
Ibishi says Vuciqi's opposition to RKS plates is unacceptable. He adds that the Kosovo government should by no means allow that.
“From the Serbian side is known as announcements in two languages -- Serbian and English -- as if this agreement does not prejudge mutual recognition and the question of civil documents, but the Serbs' demands are to be put into place those KS signs that are neutral. They're unacceptable to us. I think the Kosovo government should be consistent not to allow that. This goes into the package just as it has been warned from September 1st until the end of it, to start changing tables with these previous acronyms of Kosovo cities from the past system, and to start with RKS, so all”, he says.
Furthermore, security connoisseur says the situation in general is stable and that tensions are not expected.
The overall security situation is good, calm and stable. Tensions that have already been warned have fallen with this agreement. The issue is Consistent of the Government of Kosovo that this goes into package with that set time as long as these signs should be changed without any measure of a possible compromise”, Ibishi has said.
Kosovo and Serbia agreed long ago to give up issuing the entry and exit document to citizens of the two countries by resolving the dispute over citizens' movement.
European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell had commended Kosovo and Serbia's leaders for this agreement, which followed a period of tensions between Kosovo and Serbia following the Kosovo government's decision to implement reciprocity measures for using identification documents and car plates.
The two dialogue supporters, Gabriel Escobar and Miroslav Lajcak, during their recent visit to Kosovo and Serbia, discussed with state and party leaders on the document and license issue, and said the parties pledged to avoid violence on September 1st, when it was envisioned to bring Kosovo reciprocity into force for travel documents and car plates.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti had earlier stated that he was willing to give up the release of the document for entry and exit for the citizens of Serbia, if Belgrade did the same.
This practice Serbia had applied for 11 years, meanwhile, Kosovo issued such documents for several hours during August 1st.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has again begun remembering that by September 1st, the organisation of the process for registering illegal plates in those RKS will begin. This process, expected to begin on September 1st, will last until October 31st.
The process of car registration and other identification means to enter Kosovo was pre-arranged to begin early this month, but after tensions in the north was made a decision to extend the registration deadline for a month.
