US Ambassador to Pristina Jeffrey Hovenier has confirmed that the Kosovo Government's decisions on reciprocity with Serbia on the issue of license plates and exit documents were “co-ordinated with the international community”.
Horvenier has written in Titter that the US welcomes the Kosovo leaders' decision to suspend the provisional suspension of these reciprocity measures.
“The US welcomes the Kosovo leaders' decision to temporarily suspend the implementation of reciprocity measures for license plates and entry documents, both measures are fully in line with Brussels agreements and were co-ordinated with the international community”, the US ambassador wrote.
The U.S. promises of the decision by Kosovo have leaders to fail ultimately the implementation of reciprocity measures on license plates & end/exit documents, both sources are literally in line with the Brussels agencies and we were co-ordinated with the international communications.?

TAKING: Because of the Kosovo Government's decision on Serbian license plates and documents, local Serbs in Kosovo on July 31st placed barricades on roads leading to Jarinje and Brnjak.
The government said it will postpone implementing decisions for issuing documents for entry and exits for citizens of Serbia entering Kosovo and for changing Serbian license plates when the blockades are removed.
The decision to issue documents for entry and exit is being implemented at the other four border points with Serbia, which are open.
Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR, said it is prepared to intervene if stability is threatened in northern Kosovo.
