Asked whether Germany is concerned that political support for Ukraine could fall at a time of difficult winter conditions, Berger said: “I think this challenge is also for the United Kingdom, for France and for all of Europe. The way Putin's using gas as a weapon and putting pressure on our societies shows that he's testing our determination. Of course, this will depend on the aid packages of our governments”.
