(4 years ago)At a media conference by the US Embassy in Belgrade, US envoy for the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar has said all agreements reached between Kosovo and Serbia should be implemented, including forming association. That statement Escobar was given after last night's meeting by EU Emisari for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak with Serbia's President, Aleksandar Vuciq.
The American Emissar said dialogue must continue and that he hopes to find a solution for Serbian license plates and documents by the end of the month.
“Dialog is not clinically dead; I am not part of dialogue, the United States is not part of dialogue, but we support dialogue mediated by the European Union. I hope by the end of the month we will find ways to continue. At the same time, dialogue will continue. All agreements will have to be implemented, including the formation of Association”, Escobar said at the conference.
