Emergency Agency: Floods May Be in Kosovo

The AME Emergency Management Agency warns that there may be rapid flooding in Kosovo's designated areas, according to IHPC recommendations.

AMA appeals to citizens to be careful about avoiding all possible dangers and raising vigilance, therefore making necessary preparations in all local structures.

Based on early warning recommendations by Kosovo Hydrometeorology Institute IHMK, with the aim of averting flood danger (for flooding) as a result of atmospheric rainfall during these days, may result in rapid flooding and flooding of certain areas in Kosovo.

With official primary duty, protection of citizens' lives, material goods, environment and cultural heritage, warning and guiding!

Be all careful about avoiding all possible risks and raising vigilance, therefore making necessary preparations in all local structures, emergency response services, and mobilise human and technical capacities by the Municipal Directorate for Protection and Rescue, and those relevant to Kosovo, based on the assessment of risks from natural disasters and Tjetra - The FNFT, particularly floods, aimed at implementing emergency operational plans in flood cases.

The AME Emergency Management Agency in this case recommends necessary and necessary measures for municipal protection, rescue and assistance structures for:

RKS citizens are recommended to avoid their presence near high-risk areas near river flow, presrocks and roads that may have rapid flooding and floods, and according to the authorities, to co-operate with emergency facilities and services.
