State Department spokesman Ned Price has said that the United States of America expects to see progress in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and integration of past agreements.
Price in a proposal for “The Pavlovic Today” has said the US fully supports dialogue between the two countries.
“We are happy that the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia will meet tomorrow in Brussels, in dialogue mediated by the European Union. We fully support dialogue. It is important that we believe that both sides will use this opportunity to advance their discussions on normalisation. It's our priority. We want to see progress and implementation of past” agreements, he said.
This statement only comes one day before Kurti-Vuchic's meeting.
The two are expected tomorrow to sit at the negotiating table under the mediation of European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell, the one who comes after tensions created in northern Kosovo on July 31st.
