The fact that I am a member of a minority [Albanian] nation has been disturbed on the first day. I am the prime minister who made difficult decisions, who defended national interests even after August 30th 2020, who maintained the foreign policy course”.
I'm the prime minister making difficult decisions. Today, you may all be united in hatred. Next time, get in love. Let's talk about real things, not hallucinations, and that's why we have to unite... I expect today's discussion and attempt to explain why the initiative for my collapse came, who is the inspirer and what's behind it”.
And behind it lies neither the European path nor the desire to mix political cards. It needs Montenegro to stop on the path to transformation so that specific structures regain their financial positions that have saved them or are in good condition to be saved. That's what I'm going to talk about below, my first name and my last name”.
Distrust against Abazovic starts Montenegro's Assembly session
Montenegro's Assembly today will vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic.
The hearing started a few minutes after 11:00, when it was previously held.
The motion has been presented by the president's party there, Milo Djukanovic, as well as signed by 36 deputies.
However, to bring down a government, at least 41 votes are needed in the Montenegrin assembly. If government collapse is achieved, the country goes to new elections.
Otherwise Dritan Abazovic was elected prime minister of Montenegro on April 28th of this year.
