Community: Pristina wanderer dogs to be placed chip

Public Services Director in the Pristina municipality Iliric Musliu has said they have signed four contracts to treat stray dogs.

Musliu said the municipality will make purchases of chips that will be placed on dogs. This, according to him, is designed to identify, because it says dogs are coming from other municipalities as well.

For online economy, he said that for the treatment of stray dogs, the regional shelter will be in place next year.

We signed four contracts. We have four species to treat stray dogs. Two others are on assessment, and the last is about buying chips. The dogs of the capital will be placed chip in order to see that they are the capital's dogs because, without purpose, dogs are coming from other municipalities”.

He said the biggest problems have been had with the company “Cleaning”.

We inherited from the cleaning company. We recently made a decision and fired the chief chief because of this performance. We pay 4m euros a year for waste collection service. The municipality also assumes that the company will not be penalised”.

“Deponia has sometimes closed the doors to the cleaning company because of debts it failed to pay. Now we're doing company reorganization. The urban section is doing better on stabilisation”, he said.
