Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanked the AKK's minister and chairman for co-operation, presenting the change in the price of cement from 2019.
While Naim Mahmutaj, as the representative of the construction sector, stressed that construction in Kosovo is in chaotic condition, why today the biggest investments are focused on the sector, and also is one of the largest employers in Kosovo.
The concrete sector's representative, Bujar Avdyli, added that it is necessary to analyze more in detail the reasons that have pushed up such an enzyme of cement prices, which has the greatest effect on the final consumer, because it would directly affect the building price of domestic objects as well as business ones.

Minister Hajdari commended the Chamber of Commerce for organising the lobby for addressing the concrete sector challenge and added that the co-operation of institutions with businesses is extremely necessary to combat unacceptable phenomena.
The minister and the Competition Authority during the open discussion heard business woes and promised to analyse the case in the short term and come up with a concrete answer.
During the open discussion, other concerns that presuppose the construction sector and businesses in general were highlighted, where they were asked by MINT and AKK to have faster reactions and support in cases of extraordinary situations, such as raising prices or similar ones.
In addition, businesses also asked for support in changing public contracts prices signed before pandemic due to the price ehortification of import of goods prices (currently Kosovo has import/export 90/10) because businesses are being forced into violation of laws, such as selling under the purchase price. /Periscopi/
