Following the Italian police operation, an Albanian citizen, who is accused of taking part in “, was in handcuffs targeting illegal drug trafficking”.
Investigations conducted by the Italian prosecution revealed that drug trafficking was conducted in the form of call-centers, where orders were made in Albania, and the ecstatic distribution in Italy.
According to investigators, drug dealers were organised “according to a metodic rotation in Italy, marked by short and intensive periods of drug distribution”, while then leaving for months to stay in the country of origin.
“Contactes with buyers were held by a member of the Albanian criminal group, which then communicated the message to various distributors who could be present closer to the client in Italy. In the concrete case, the cocaine distributor had an apartment and a vehicle, while the circulation of narcotics is estimated at about 10,000 euros a month”, explain Perugia Antimafia agents.
According to the court file, it turns out that “house control following the arrest of Albanian citizens made it possible to find several packaged doses of cocaine, a precaution scales and about 6,000 euros ahead of hidden causes”.
Moreover, the detainee was found to have been expelled twice before from Italian state territory. For this reason, the Albanian was also arrested for drug possession and violation of the law consolidated for immigration and imprisoned in Peugia-Capane.
