He died today in Nis at the age of 75, former Prime Minister Bratislava Buba Morina.
Serbian media write that her first commitment was to the then Nis SUP and then, moving to Belgrade, worked at the Federal Executive Council.
In the early 1980s, she moved to Pristina and worked on the Kosovo District Committee. Early on in the breakup of the is h - RSPJ, she was a sincere lawyer for the survival of the former Yugoslavia, and her views articulated through the organisation “Women's movement to save Yugoslavia”.
With the outbreak of war conflicts on the territory of the former Yugoslavia in the early 1990s, the Government of Serbia named it Commissioner for Refugees of the Republic of Serbia.
Morina worked to care for more than 700 thousand exiled and displaced persons. In Kosovo it had also built collective dwellings for Serb settlers displaced by Croatia and Bosnia.
Later she has held the post of minister for family care in the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
During the 1999 war, she has held the post of Federal Minister for Refugees and Internal Solutions, and during that period has actively engaged in sending humanitarian aid to Serbia and RFJ.
She is expected to be buried in Belgrade, where her husband, Nundman Morina, also rests.
