The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo (BSPK) has announced a general strike Thursday due to the failure to realise their demands on the part of the Government of Kosovo.
BSPK Chairman At and Hykoli said they are obliged to go on strike.
On August 10, 2022 B The SPK held its extraordinary meeting with the aim of security of the situation. B The SPK again pursued all legal ways towards implementing requirements but failed to sit down with Government and find a proper way. So today I want to inform you that the law is forcing us to go on strike, that's why today we're declaring the general strike due to the failure to make demands”, Hycol said.
