Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, has talked with the United States of America's Ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, about bilateral relations between the two countries, the situation in the region, dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as co-operation in the field of energy.
Ana Brnabiq has declared that preserving peace and stability in the region is one of the main priorities and that Serbia remains committed to investing additional efforts to develop regional relations in all areas and at any time, writes Rats, broadcasts the Kosovo Clan.
This medium also writes that Serbia also offers strong support for regional co-operation through the “Open Balkans initiative”, which according to it has proved to be an effective framework for resolving important issues for our citizens.
Speaking of dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Serbia's prime minister stressed that she is convinced that the meeting with the case of the new round of dialogue on 18 August in Brussels will be constructive, especially given the current situation and policies she called unilateral.
“Christopher Hill estimated that continuing talks is the only way to resolve open issues and stressed that the US strongly supports dialogue mediated by the European Union”.
“Bascoasters stressed that there is great potential for co-operation in the field of energy, primarily for renewable energy resources projects”.
Consequently, the Serbian prime minister reportedly estimated that energy security is the subject of extraordinary importance for Serbia and that it is necessary to become a new step towards energy transition and the construction of new energy capacities in the communique.
