The LDK, today, came up with a public response to President Begaj, saying he refused to meet President Lumir Abdixhiku at the party's headquarters, demanding that this meeting be held in the spaces of the Kosovo Assembly.
Begaj, in an interview for the public broadcaster, has said that following his invitation to LDK leaders for a meeting in the Assembly, as with other party leaders, he has received an answer from the party.
In that response, according to Begaj, he was said to be welcome at the LDK building, thus refusing a meeting in the Assembly.
“I am president of RSH and came to Kosovo to talk as brother to brother, as with my family. These meetings I wanted to hold at the political temple, which is the assembly of that country, My invitation has been quite sincere to all political parties in the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament. According to LDK response sent to my staff, it said the president RSH is welcome at the LDK building”, Begaj said.
Begaj has said he intended to meet all Albanian party leaders at a table, but has said that was impossible, so he has met the partitioner.
The “occurred on our part, appointments were set. I came to Kosovo at the invitation of the president of the Republic of Kosovo. I wanted the Albanian political parties to meet together, at a table, I couldn't reach it, I met a separate”, Begaj said.
