Following this decision has the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, who has thanked American colleague Joe Biden for the latest military aid package.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that since the arrival of the new administration led by President Biden, Washington has provided $10.6 billion in military assistance to Kiev.
By contrast, Great Britain is the second country to have mostly helped Ukraine since the 24th of February when Russia's conquest began.
