More than 40 flights to Taiwan following China's military maneuvers

At least 40 flights directly and from Taiwan have been cancelled, according to the China Times.

The paper quoted Taoyuan Airport of Taipei as saying that the cancellations were not necessarily “connected to military maneuvers.

China has ordered ships and planes to avoid military exercises surrounding the country.

The sides, divided in 1949 after a civil war, have no formal ties but are one of the most powerful allies of technology and productivity.
