Musk and Twitter are preparing for a legal battle, as the billionaire said Friday he is stepping down from the deal reached in April for the company's purchase.
The Twitter indictment says “Musk refuses to abide by his obligations to the company's Twitter and heeders because the deal he signed no longer serves his personal interests”.

Twitter has handed over the indictment to a court in Delauer, often dealing with business disputes by many corporations, including Twitter.
Musk said on Friday that Twitter had failed to provide enough information regarding false accounts on this social network. Twitter said last month it was offering Musk hundreds of millions of data on daily posts.
The company said that about 5 percent of the accounts opened on this platform are believed to be false. Musk has also claimed Twitter has violated the agreement with him, firing two of the top managers.
When Musk offered to buy the company in April, the board of this company initially rejected the idea, but then agreed.
On 25 April, Twitter said it has decided to sell the company to Musk billionaire for $54.20 per share. In a joint statement, Musk pledged that he would remove some of the restrictions on freedom of expression and clear false accounts. / REL
