The “Bombas fell to sea, near the island of”, the Operational Command said, without providing further details.
The marking of Snake Island is great as Russian forces have abandoned the island on June 30th after a Ukrainian offensive. The island, located on Ukraine's southern Black Sea coast, is seen as an important strategic factor for war as it enables access to the Danube River and its land ports to Ukrainian wheat bearing ships.
There have been repeated air strikes on the island since the Russians left.
The report says the Russian navy has regrouped its ranks, saying there are three ships and two submarines in the sea that are risking the entire territory of Ukraine”. /Periscopi/
