Increasing cases of infection with COVID-19, according to Health Ministry spokesman Faik Hoti, has been warned and also expected by this minister.
Hoti, said that with the rise of cases in the countries of the region, it is expected that the same will happen in Kosovo.
“Since long ago many different countries in Europe and the world have had increased cases of Covid-19, increases these that have been reflected even in the countries of the region, this increase of cases has been warned and expected”, Hoti has declared.
Some of the reasons that may have raised this number of infections, according to the MSH spokesman, are the movement of citizens from one country to another, but other factors like the degree of vaccines against coronus.
He has said that, the World Health Organisation (OBSH), recommends that citizens be vaccinated because in this way the likelihood of virus distribution is downplayed.
The “may be the result of population movements from country to country, but in other factors, the more society is vaccinated, the likelihood of spreading infection is reduced, while there are many countries in the world that have extremely low levels of vaccines. WHO says that in one state if there are small numbers of vaccinated people, risk the spread of the virus in other countries as well, Hoti said of RTV Dukagini.
On the other hand, Hoti has called on citizens to be vaccinated, especially with the third dose of immunization, because according to him this is the best defense against Avid-19.
According to him, measures in power are not being respected and monitored enough.
“I call on citizens to respect the measures, one of them is that in public institutions or gastronomer the vaccination card is required, the carrying of masks in closed environments is recommended, measures that are not being implemented enough”, he has followed.
Finally, Hoti has warned that the number of infected people may increase further in the days to come.
