Ramos: It's alarming brain drain, so we're losing human capital and this process is unstoppable.

In recent years thousands of citizens have fled Kosovo to Western countries seeking a better life.

University of Pristina professor Berim Ramosaj estimated that Kosovo institutions should build demographic policies that will serve the country's development.

According to him now, not only are the majority of the population running away who are not educated, or have a certain profession, but graduates and so on.

It's alarming brain drain, so we're losing human capital and this process is unstoppable. The brain drain is a global problem and is not a problem only for Kosovo. The state of Kosovo should stimulate new businesses”, he told RTK.

Ramosaj recommended that the state should stimulate businesses in Kosovo with new forms and become a five-year plan. According to him, citizens' flight comes from many factors.

He said businesses in Kosovo should also think of their workers, as the results of workers increased their capital.

“also needs to be worked for workers to get benefits in the chair, as negative phenomena affect brain drain”, he said.
