Rama has said that Samit has demanded that Kosovo be included in NATO's Partnership for Peace. He has said it is good for NATO to realise that it is not an ordinary time, and in this extraordinary time, even extraordinary actions should be taken in a political and decision-making way.
“We requested that Kosovo be included in the Partnership for Peace, which before NATO membership. We have given confidence to all relevant arguments and it is good for the entire alliance to understand that despite the non-recognition of Kosovo by some of the countries, this is not a common time and as an extraordinary time, it also requires extraordinary acts in the political respect and aspect of decision”, Rama said at the conference.
The head of the Albanian government has said that these facts have made a strong and accurate point, since Kosovo has shown maturity as a state in relation to its obligations to the large family, even though it is not recognised by Ukraine.
“Kosovo, despite not knowing Ukraine, I have stressed this very strongly, I have taken an exact and clear stand, showing an important maturity as a state in relation to obligations to the entire large family that Kosovo has inextricably linked its own destiny”, has continued.
