She has talked about the involvement of EULEX officials in the vicinity of closing the criminal case against Ilir Tollaj and the case of the explosion at the “bar. Sekiraca”, while shortly after the conference ended, she received an invitation for an interview by the Pristina Prosecutor.
Bamieh made this known through a Facebook post, where he said he would co-operate fully with Kosovo authorities.
I announce that today, right after the press conference, a police official handed me an invitation for an interview by Prosecutor Victory Sadiki under suspicion that I have committed criminal acts of abuse of official duty and flow of classified information. I accepted the invitation and notified the police official that I would fully cooperate with Kosovo authorities”, he wrote Bamieh on Facebook.
Express has contacted the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina to understand the reasons for this invitation. This prosecutor's spokeswoman, Laureta Ulaj, said the invitation has been made due to the inability to secure Bamieh's statement over the past few years.
We can inform you that the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina because of the inability to secure the statement by Mrs. Maria Bamieh has been invited to interview the same after today's” conference, Ulaj told Express.
