After the police interview, Nuredin Lushtaku is released

“I have visited Mr. Lushtaku, he has been released with regular procedure, since there is no reasonable doubt that he has used weapons during the incident in question, police will develop investigations, we are interested in fully conducting investigations so that the entire truth of this case can be cleared, without the development of investigations of course we will use all those legal means that we have available to him depending on the result of the investigation procedure, he has told T7.
Asked whether there are others arrested in connection with the incident, Qerkeyni said there is no information.
“I don't know about others, I can't talk about others, because I can only represent one suspect in this case Mr. Nuredin Lushtaku for others I have no information”, he said.
Kosovo police have confirmed the injuries of two police officials last night in the late hours in Skenderaj. One policeman has been shot, and the other has been severely injured.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the case, while two others are on the run, police have confirmed.
It is not known which of the people involved in the conflict has surrendered.
Police have been sent to KKUK for medical treatment, while the motive of double injury allegedly concerns the pronunciation of a fine in traffic.

By the date 02.07.2022, around 23:55, it was reported that two police officials were attacked at Skenderaj during one point, one being wounded with firearms on his feet and the other injured by heavy vehicles.
Both police officials are out of danger for life, the same have been sent to KKUK for medical treatment.
To this stage two people have been arrested and two others are on the run by police.
Operations and investigations in co-operation and co-ordination with relevant institutions are being undertaken in the case.
