Minister Gervalla: If I say visas happen in September, I'll lie to you

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla has said no one knows the exact date when visas will be liberalised for Kosovo citizens. She has said Kosovo institutions are engaged in this direction, and according to her, there is progress. But for Gervala, neither she herself nor the institutions of [...]
However, for Gervala, neither it itself nor Kosovo institutions nor any EU representative knows the date of visa liberalisation.
“Today, nobody, not our institutions, not me as foreign minister, but not an EU representative can say the exact date when there can be free movement. Today, no one knows when the final step will be and when visas will be removed for Kosovo citizens”, it said on the “dPt show at Fidan” in T7.
She has said she can confirm that liberalisation can become a reality in September, as warnings are being given recently.
I can't say it's happening in September, I'd lie to you”, she stressed.
Gervala has also spoken of Vuciq's statements, which warned visa liberalisation for Kosovo on 23 June.
Whatever Vuciqi says in relation to Kosovo, in opinion, must be taken with many reservations and therefore what has been expected has occurred. The task of Kosovo institutions is to work daily, so that visa liberalisation, as far as it is within our reach, can be realised as soon as possible. The task of institutions is not to deal with gossip, but to deal with things. We've talked to a lot of countries, we've been working on small and big steps with states that have skeptical states”, she has declared.
