With 17 votes to go, no framework and no abstention of the Municipal Assembly has passed the proposal for the appointment of the main Family Medicine Centre in Lipjan, named for the late doctor “Mejdi Zeinullah”.
The proposal for this name has come from QMF medical workers Magur, who have initiated a petition on the issue that 174 health workers of the entire Lipjan have signed.
The nomination at the Assembly was made by Health Director Shkelzen Hajdini, who said Zejnou Allah has made a valuable contribution since his early years, but also during wartime and after it to the Filipjan people.
But Alban Salihu, chief of Vetevendosje's ambists, has criticised local government for trying to see that the names of the figures that were in LDK placed in public institutions, and, according to him, as in the CKMF, have been done in the streets and other institutions in Lipjan. Even PDK chiefblisti, Arsim Jashari has complained that no more proposals have come to the assembly and that according to him, Lipjan has other doctors who have contributed money, during and after the war, without contesting the professionalism of the late doctor's work, but, he said, let it become open debate and in another case.
Mayor Imri Ahmeti stressed that he has come to his office with this petition and as such can't ignore it and address the rule that exists and, according to him, this appointment is being honored by the entire generation of doctors. He said it's in the hands of asambitists to vote on that name or not until he appealed it not to be used for political points.
After the discussions, it was put to the polls, where 17 majority aembrists -- LDK -- were approved the WKMF's appointment by the new name, as opposition advisers launched the hall and did not participate in the vote.
