Law failure: Position urges co-operation, opposition blames for ignoring

The lack of power deputies in the hearing has failed to adopt key laws, but in many cases, even though opposition MPs were present, have failed to vote.
Opposition positions blame each other for failing to co-operate, considering that all of this is happening for political resentment and that all of this is going to the detriment of citizens.
Vetevendosje Movement MP Fatmire Kolcak in an interview has called on opposition deputies to support legal initiatives because the citizen's interest is being violated.
She adds that in a democratic state, the opposition must support initiatives affecting the well-being of all.
The current government itself must secure votes for bills and issues that are important for voting. But it had been good for the opposition to also support initiatives that improve the lives of citizens. The adoption of an extremely important agreement involving social welfare has not been ratified, with the reforming of a social scheme where citizens would benefit. Encourage the opposition MP since the priority issues for the lives of citizens to support those initiatives either legal or law enforcement, because that's where the citizen's interest” is being affected.
“I can say it hurts citizens. Those political resentments I do not understand, but it is natural that the opposition does not vote on government bills, but it is not natural not to vote on what is vital for citizens. So in a democratic state even opposition deputies should vote when something directly affects citizen”, Kolcak said.
List deputy “Gux”, part of Vetevendosje Parliamentary Group Haxhi Avdyli, said the adoption of the laws results as well.
But that, according to him, the greatest damage to the citizen is the reduction of the budget and lack of drugs.
“in most cases the delays that come are reasonable because that course of laws starts by the ministry. We will not allow bad laws to pass on citizens”.
I think there's no room for harm, but some laws when we see them do not match the current reality and have to be changed. The biggest damage is if the budget is reduced, then there are shortages of drugs rather than laws because there are laws. But it always needs to be seen if there are irregularities or mismanagement then it can directly harm citizen”, Avdyli said.
While the Democratic League of Kosovo deputy (LDK), Valentina Buxaku-Rejep, in an interview for Online Economy, stressed that any bill going to the Kosovo Assembly and not being voted is at the expense of citizens.
According to her, lack of bills is the government's responsibility because they have the majority in the Assembly. It recalls the time when the VV was in opposition and did not support the initiatives of other ruling parties.
“Every bill that comes to the Kosovo Assembly and is not normally voted to hurt the country's citizens. But this is the government's responsibility and majority because they have over 58 deputies where it is their responsibility to bring bills and vote. Those bills serve Kosovo citizens”.
At the time we were in the opposition position and VV has always voted against and did not participate in the polls now these are bound and responsible for this case, citizens have had enough time to analyze whether they deserved a populist government like Kurti 2”, said Bunjaku-Redgepi.
While Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP (AAK) Pal Lekaj said it is not the responsibility of the opposition, but majority to operate parliament and adopt laws.
Among other things, Lekay argued that if he continues with this ignorance from the majority, it doesn't make sense that this Government will continue its work, EO reports.
“As far as the majority is concerned, it has the full responsibility of parliament to function and adopt laws. It's not the responsibility of the opposition, but we as the AAK group did the best we could. Each time we have been constructive because the interest of citizens and not the interest of the political party has dominated. We've often voted laws. But that does not mean that responsibility over us, but over the Government of Kosovo and the majority”.
The “is also a ignorance of deputies from the majority not to come to sessions, pass no laws, and have somehow taken this into play. We are to make laws to pass laws that regulate the lives of citizens. And if this goes on, I don't know why it makes sense that this government is where it's”, Lekay said.
