With today's first reading vote of the Bill for the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscating of Inexcusable Riches, we move together to enable civil seizure (without punishment) of property that is not justified. I thank the Parliament deputies for this vote, with which we initiated the establishment of an important discretion mechanism to investigate the assets of all official persons. With valid recommendations from the Venice Commission, this bill will be fully standardised in accordance with the best international practices and will also increase the efficiency of fighting corruption, as has our commitment, which we are fully devoted to”, he wrote.
