After 17 years the doors of the EU to the Republic of Northern Macedonia are being opened, and for that the most meritive are its citizens, it was expressed today in Brussels, shortly after the country's first intergovernmental conference, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski.
“The citizens of the RMV are the most deserving today. After 17 years, the doors for EU integration are opening. Today is the day we start writing a new chapter. Today is a historic day for our country. This day is dedicated to our citizens. To accomplish this strategic purpose, we have worked hard, brought about decisions that call for great courage and wisdom. The EU accepts us as Macedonians who speak Macedonian, this has always been ensured, and it will never be discussed. I am convinced that the help the EU will provide in the coming period will affect a better life of our citizens. We are building a democratic and European society”, Kovachevski said.
