The news was made known by the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.
Yuri Voronov, 61, head of a logistical company that held lucrative contracts with Gazprom in the Arctic, was found dead in his home in an ultra-rich suburb of St Petersburg about 2: 00 a.m. Monday.
Voronov was found drowning in the pool with gunshot wounds on his head, a nearby Grand Power pistol and a few empty boxes at the bottom of the pool.
He is the sixth wealthy Russian businessman to die in mysterious circumstances since the beginning of the year.
Many of them related to Gazprom, and two of whom died in the same suburb of St Petersburg as Voronov.
The Russian investigative committee is investigating Voronov's death, which they are currently citing to a <x0-dom dispute with business partners”.
