It's not just a doctor's escape. It's also a nursing home. It is also another extremely disturbing subject. I know recently some complaining nurses at the Health Insult with caregivers in cardiology where there's a nurse for 15 patients who can't afford to perform a good service”, Uka said in Info Magazine.
Uka even says that, according to the Infermies' House, within five years Kosovo will be forced to import nurses from abroad.
At least that's what the Infermies Oda told us. Normally, a nurse cannot cover a ward of 15 to 20 patients, and they are on their way. So this is also a concern, even the Infermies' Oda according to their analysis and predictions I don't know, but at least they say that within five years if this trend continues we should seek nurses outside Kosovo. We need to get nurses because we can't cover basic needs”, she said.
Arberette Uka is a journalist who has been accompanying the health sector in Kosovo for years, and has been rewarded with several awards.
