And as a result of price hikes, it is required that the Trust issue be brought back to the Assembly and voted by MPs.
The vote of this bill by the legislature under economic connoisseurs would ease the country's economic crisis by little.
They are demanding that citizens be allowed retirement from the Pension Fund of 20%.
Kadrij: Government and MPs have no mood for withdrawing means from Trust
Mustaf Kadriaj, economics expert, tells Front Online that the government and parliamentarians have no mood for withdrawing resources from the Pension Trust.
Why, according to him, the economic crisis has engulfed the region, the same world as these and Kosovo.
“We are witnessing price hikes at all products, costs have increased in all economic activities, but when they talk about Trust, Government and most parliamentarians have no mood I was pros to pass a part of the Trust by 20%. The government is giving its reasons as if Kosovo were in a stable state. The whole world and the region are in economic crisis, but however, the Government has no readiness it is assessing to find other ways to support the citizen, but in no way to affect the Trust”, he added.
According to Kadriaj, the proposal of withdrawing means from the Trust should not be made by the opposition, but by civil society and citizens.
The economy recogniser says the government in power has taken the vote to help citizens, but that is not happening.
We have very high inflation, so a Trust transition to citizens would have to be done. This could now be only a citizens' wish because the government is not moving in this direction, but also the fact that it has been proposed by an opposition MP and a doctor who is directly ignored by the prime minister, but should actually be from civil society and citizens but by no circumstances from the opposition. The government must understand that no one gets through, they've taken the vote of citizens to get help, but so far there's no such thing”, Kadrijaj said.
Thaci for the economic crisis: Citizens' economic situation will be unaffordable during winter months
Similar sentiments that withdrawing tools from the Trust would help citizens from the economic crisis include other economic connoisseur Imer Thaci.
He tells Front Online that the Trust must vote to prevent deepening an even more serious crisis.
Thaci has declared that the winter season will be a challenge for citizens after the cost of the diaper and energy.
The accumulated budget share must be used for citizens and for the benefit of citizens. We are approaching the winter season, which is expected to increase in their heating spending as the price of the diaper has increased and the price of energy has marked a record increase and represents a heavy winter for Kosovo citizens, that is, deepening in crisis. These cannot be covered differently, so the withdrawal of savings from the Trust should be voted, because otherwise the citizens' economic situation will be heavy and unaffordable during the winter months”, Thaci stressed.
Economist Thaci has stressed that after price hikes in the country, the Government has not reflected in the increase in wages for citizens.
Kosovo's <x0.> Familys have been driven by a lot of this unaffordable increase in prices with their salaries that are burdening their baskets, and especially the rising prices for basic products that have marked an increase of 41.34% and that this increase never reflected even in the increase of salaries, even though the price increases in increased budgetary revenues, so the government has accumulated more money because the increase in the price of the tax paid by citizen”, he said.
Otherwise, petition organisers for allowing 30% of Trust's means to be withdrawn on July 15th have submitted to the Kosovo Assembly, signatures collected in all municipalities in Kosovo through which they seek to convince lawmakers to meet this requirement.
