Hoti: Cannot rule out the possibility that the situation with David-19 is harsh

Health Ministry spokesman Faik Hoti has talked about increasing cases with COVID-19 recently in Kosovo.

Hoti in Tvjet1, has said that the possibility of the COVID-19 going to toughen up.

The possibility of the situation going to rough up is not ruled out because we're looking at daily analysis from the IKSHPK, of suspicious cases, we see that we have a turnout of positive samples resulting from COVID-19, down from 20% to 30%<1>, he said.

According to him, projections are that in recent days there may be higher increase in cases.

“Today we have the largest number of samples performed in the last month for this reason we have the highest number of cases. But translated into simpler figures we see that every third or fourth person who is suspicious and tested for SARS-COV-2 results in positive. Projections are that in the coming days we can have even higher numbers of cases”, Hoti said.

We remember that cases of Coddy-19 are continuing to grow, where only today has gone to record scores of up to 400 positive cases within 24 hours.

While the IKSC has been appealing for citizens to be vaccinated and masked in closed environments.
