Havenier: We remain steadfast to defend Kosovo's sovereignty, territorial integrity

These comments were made during the reception of many guests invited to mark the 246th anniversary of the United States of America's Independence.

“Therefore we remain steadfast as we have always been and defending Kosovo's sovereignty, territorial integrity. So, today, while we celebrate the 246th anniversary of the United States as a free, sovereign and independent state, we also celebrate together, the 14th anniversary of Kosovo's independence and the remarkable progress you have achieved in this short period of time“, he has said.
Ambassador Havenier said ahead of the audience that 46 years ago, 56 representatives from 13 American colonies gathered in Philadelphia and ratified what was then considered a radical document, the Declaration of Independence, where it declared the status of colonies as sovereign independent states.
According to him, this was not only the first step in forming the United States but described and described their aspirations and values as a people for whom we continue to work and work today.
In a warm and decorating environment, the American Embassy invited many guests from political, social, and cultural life. Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani was seen there with her husband and two daughters, as well as Prime Minister Kurti with his wife.
