According to Z THREE, on July 19, 2022, the electric power supplier in charge of the public service's obligation as Universal Minister delivery ( FShU/ KESCO has submitted official application to the ZRE for opening an extraordinary review of the Maxual License for FU. The FSU, which is based on under-cost operation, as a result of the lack of subsidies pledged by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the rising price train in the majority of electricity markets.
“From the moment the request is made for extraordinary consideration, FSHUA within 20 days of work must present detailed reasonableness along with calculations of financial influence. After acknowledging the detailed reasonableness, the ZRE will review the FSHU's request to see if 5% of FSHU's revenues are exceeded and the rules for FSHU Entering are met to open the extraordinary review of retail tariffs for regulated electricity consumers”, the ZRERC communique said.
The ZRE has said it will keep public notice concerning actions to be taken. /Periscopi/
