The verdict, provided by “Justice Vow”, is said to be the measure that stems [...]
In the decision, provided by “Justice Vow, it is said that this measure stems from the release of the date 02.06.2022 police report, the site's report, photofocumentation, documents from the University Clinical Centre in Pristina, photo of the now damaged owner Mergim Geci, and witness statements.
The request for this measure, State Prosecutor Fetije Bajrami, has done so after praising that if the defendants were to be released, there is a possibility that they could influence witnesses and destroy some evidence that would prevent the course of criminal procedure.
On the other hand, the prosecutor has asked to identify the two guides who were in the vehicle with Arber Lushtaku and to be heard during the investigation and that all these witnesses who have been interrogated once again are questioned.
The detention period, the prosecution has also based it on the weight of criminal acts.
“... that the policeman was attacked during his official duty and that was midnight. They have not used weapons, because they have been inflicted bodily injuries to police employees, have stolen the weapons of the injured Enver Berisha, as well as on the basis of the file on behalf of defendants that the danger exists that if released, they can repeat criminal acts or perform any other criminal work against the injured” is stated in the verdict.
The state prosecutor, at the hearing hearing, had clarified the circumstances of the case, saying police officers Enver Berisha and Mergim Geci, about 23:45, in Skenderaj had detained Arben Lushtaku, who was fined for not using the seat belt.
According to the prosecution, he had later called his father, Nuredin Lushtak, who had come by car with his brothers Faton and Alif Lushtak.
Suspect Nuredin Lushtaku had said the circumstances of this case considered them mounted against him and his family.
Against this decision could be filed a complaint with the Court of Appeals in Pristina in the 24-hour deadline from the day of the decision's accession through this court. /Betimy for Justice
