He has added that Albania and the Netherlands will prepare a proposal for how it should be articulated on the ground of real European life, France's president's idea of the European New Political Community.
“This is a new idea to generate new European energy and power, without replacing or bypassing the European Union enlargement process. While the idea of Albania's Albanian-Falandes proposal took life just during its visit to The Hague, where, by praising Albania's work and achievements, and also by praising our critical contribution to the European Council table, Prime Minister Mark Rutte asked me to put on paper, jointly, as two friendly countries -- one at the roots of the EU, the other not yet in the EU -- a common view of how the idea of the new European political community should be lived<1>, he said in the EU.
According to him, this is an unimaginable moment until a few years ago in Albania's international political arena and beyond, as well as a touching expression for Albania and Albanians.
We will work with Prime Minister Rutte and our teams to promote a constructive and productive debate on Europe and all Europeans, at the Grand Summit on this topic, in Prague next October, where we will present our” proposal, he has concluded.
