He also indicated that the 192 call centre in Pristina handles more than 1,000 calls per day.
The number of complaints by citizens for police officials has risen year-on-year. Last year we have addressed 2013 complaints, of them near 70 per cent have returned to the Kosovo Police, as there have been no elements of the criminal act. There is no measure of concern. If the number of police commitments is calculated on a daily basis, the 192 call centre in Pristina handles more than 1,000 calls within the day”, Beka said in Tv1.
According to him, increasing the number of complaints is due to the credibility citizens towards the IPK.
Whatever is in the context of the IPK's annual report, an analysis has been made about why we have a trend of increasing the number of complaints. This refers to increasing citizens' credibility towards the IPK, in the second place concerns the additional commitments of Kosovo Police officers”, he added further.
Kosovo Police Inspectorate (IPK) today has marked the 16th anniversary of the establishment.
