Close to 10,000 active cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo, with only 18 people vaccinated within 24 hours

The number of new cases with COVID-19 has begun to rise recently. According to the latest report by the National Institute of Public Health, there are currently 9,300 active cases in Kosovo, 978 registered in the last 24 hours alone. According to the latest report by the National Institute of Public Health, there are currently 9,300 active cases in Kosovo, 978 registered in the last 24 hours alone.
During these 24 hours, three cases of death were also recorded in Kosovo, while another 1,083 patients were cured.
What is noteworthy is that the number of people being vaccinated is too low that in the last 24 hours only 18 citizens have been vaccinated.
On the other hand, with the first dose in Kosovo, over 900 thousand citizens were vaccinated, with the second being over 820 thousand, while with the third, only 104 thousand.
With the fourth dose, only 1067 people were vaccinated.
Despite rising cases, except for some Facebook posts, Kosovo institutions have yet to undertake anything concrete.
