The former prime minister of Great Britain, Boris Johnson, is being named as a name to be potentially NATO secretary.
As reported British telegraphJohnson has the support of high conservatives. But even Ukraine's deputies want Johnson to take office as secretary in the highest Euro-Atlantic military alliance.
Johnson was very tough on Russian President Vladimir Putin because of the Russian invasion in Ukraine of what the Kremlin declared Johnson to be “non grata”.
To take this position, Johnson must resign from the position of the British deputy.
To be a secretary to NATO, all states of the military alliance must vote on it.
France is reported to be more skeptical in this regard.
“People will probably quarrel about Boris Johnson's legacy for years ], but one thing that is clearly indisputable is his absolutely determined support for Ukraine in the face of Russian barbarity”, said Mark Francois, member of the defence committee.
