Borrell and Varhely go to Montenegro today

The meeting, led by High Representative, will be an opportunity to review bilateral EU-Montenegro relations under Stabilisation Agreement - Association and to discuss recent developments in Montenegro and the Western Balkans. After the Council, High Representative Borrell, Montenegrin Prime Minister Abazovic and Commissioner Varhely will hold a joint press conference around 11:45.
In the afternoon, High Representative will have an exchange with representatives of civil society before meeting with President Milo Djukanovic. On Friday, 15 July, High Representative Borrell will continue his visit to Montenegro, where he will hold a bilateral meeting with Foreign Minister Krivokapiq. The meeting will be followed by a press release around 9:30.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Varhely will leave Podgorica to continue his visit to Albania. Along with Prime Minister Edi Rama, he will visit Vlora's eypass, an EU-funded project and hold a press conference around 7:30.
